Tokyo has many small businesses, small not just in the size of the business, perhaps many are family businesses, but the physical size of the business and deliveries are a constant and ubiquetious form of behaviour.  Push carts, hand carry,  small trucks medium size trucks are everywhere.

Smoking takes place outside usually in specifically designated areas, as I guess does conversation…

or when just being together requires no conversation, just a personal connection .

whether older young

or perhaps waiting out your time

and heart is where you find the home and business

or maybe to others  your home is just some kind of  art

If you cannot make your own fantasy  you can buy someone else’s

or even create your own.

if you can find it. Its a beautiful kimono but I do not think when a non Japanese person wears one its “cultural appropriation, there is no other way to understand kimono without  the experience of dressing.
