The smart phone has made it even more ubiquitous, and someone’s sense of humor.

The situations of the schools—locations, finances, etc— come to play an important part in the socialization experiences of the students. They develop their own norms based on their social experiences with each other, semi-independent of family or village elders.

Students develop their own norms and a more commonsense of reality based more on their experiences with each other, and less with family or village elders, but still in the presence of adult professionals with a more common standard across the country than local communities.
