And all the way home held your camera like a bible,
Just wishing so bad it held some kind of truth.
And I stood nervous next to you in the dark room,
You drop the paper in the water and it all begins to bloom.
Old Soul Song (For the New World Order) Bright Eyes (I cannot figure out the name of the album from the package, I believe Conner Oberst is the song writer.)
Just a few steps down the hall, one stop full service for any and all of your psychiatric need, theories available And by the way, it appears there is no waiting in line.or maybe no line to wait in.

Light in the hallway of the medical building. I guess I got a little bored waiting, but then again that’s why I like to go, I get bored, start walking around and find something light.

There was skipping stones, and later, cows .

A city scape in San Francisco, I wondered what’s it like to butt heads in the sky, soft versus hard, but the hard can not stop the soft from going to its destination.

Looking down California Street, perhaps from Powell, as photograph, or from the top is fun, .the California and Powell intersection can be a bit unnerving if you are doing it for the first time. I avoid it.—Cable cars both directions on both California and Powell, AND, they make a turns both directions California going dowm and down Powell, and top side of Powell. There are red bliinking lights on all corners. Down California Street, looking towards Berkeley-Oakland That is the Bay Bridge, California
When the cable car makes a turn, from the Market Street side, the car goes up Powell to going up California or (from the top) down California and right turn down Powell .You see the Bay Bridge which crosses to Berkeley-Oakland ..

“Knowing” is a human invention/creation. Maybe that’s a weirdest thing to say . . .

We “know” through the experiences of our five senses and it seems our biology/chemistry enables us tp have this ”mind..” which plays a role in human behavior . As you grow up your experiences create a structure of behavior based on your behavior. You do things you want to do and have to do. As they get repeated they become patterns. As a member of a society .which is a network of this interactions of the “Things
Your mind sorts your visual experiences into words, gives them back to you and shapes how you interpret your sensual experiences as well as evolves to create a group of “networked” people. Supposedly people who are more similar will get along better.

Everyone is busy doing “this thing” while they are interacting with others who are busy doing ”this thing”, and maybe unique individual experiences become blended, nudged, into common experiences as they lose a little of their uniqueness in the process of “socializatiopn.——Lose meaning in the translation and the distorted meaning may become the real meaning.

The universe is a bunch of things. Human beings developed on Earth—it was s a long slow development—as will be any future development —and one of the basic human tools was the ability to differentiate one thing from another and give it a name.

Form is not different from emptiness,
emptiness is not different from form:
Form is emptiness,
emptiness is form.
The Heart Sutra Avalokiteshvara speaks to Shariputra

No thing, nothing, was also an important tool. For human beings for hundreds of thousands of years the “ignored nothing” was an important tool to differentiate one “thing” from another “thing.” Air!

Until science understood that the “Great Nothing” that served humans so well to differentiate between all of the things easily distinguishing one thing from another –—AIR!— was also a bunch of things, such as oxygen, nitrogen. But that “ignorance” well served its purpose for many 100,000s of years until science was ready to understand.

Imagine in the Universe there are no things, just a bunch of particles. Humans experience these particles with their senses and with mind..How humans enabled by their senses commonly experience these particles enable them to develop a common language
These things appear to exist in reality as things in the universe. Knowledge is having names for the different things and describing the relationships between them.

The head monk Shen-hsiu, at midnight, holding a candle, wrote a verse on the central section of the sought corridor, without anyone else knowing about it. The verse read:
The body is the Bodhi tree,
The mind is like a clear mirror.
At all times we must strive to polish it,
And must not let the dust collect.

Later the Sixth Patriarch asked someone to read it, and then respond for him—he was illiterate:
Bodhi originally has no tree
The mirror also has no stand.
Buddha nature is always clean and pure:
Where is there room for dust?
Both verses from The Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch translated by Philip B. Yampolsky

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, and it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.”
Genesis 1:3

For all of these images I was there, with a camera.
I googled my blog. Mostly my photographs are like personal snapshots, often spontaneous, natural light, and inspired by feeling, like “personal poems,” where others find some meaning , I hope there is a commonness expressed, an commonness which is not expressed in your relationship with me (through my image) but with yourself—sometimes it may be a question, or sometimes just a feeling of fun.

Is there enough light to see my self waiting outside my window?

If Han Hsin had given thought to the Way and been more humble instead of boasting of his achievements and priding himself on his own ability, how fine a man he might have been.! For his services to the house of Han he might have ranked with the Dukes of Chou and Shao and Grand Duke Wang of old and for ages after have enjoyed the blood and flesh of sacrifices. Yet he did not strive for such things but, when the world was already gathered under one rule, plotted treason instead. Was it not right that he and his family should be wiped out?
